Hello! My name is Timbra Vaughn. I am so excited to be joining Oasis and getting to work with your child.
This will be my thirteenth year teaching. I graduated from UNR with a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. I also hold an Early Childhood Special Education endorsement. I have taught ECSE, K-2 resource, and 2nd grade.
I am blessed with an amazing husband and two wonderful children who will be attending Oasis as fourth and fifth graders.
Picking a favorite book is IMPOSSIBLE. I can't even pick a favorite
genre. I do love the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull. My favorite
children's books are frumpled fairy tales.
Fun facts about me: I
never win pie eating contests because they make me giggle. My first
question when planning a visit somewhere is, "Do they have a museum?" I
am an awful singer, but I don't let that keep me from singing!
We have an amazing year of learning and growth ahead of us!
